CURRENT VACANCIES

  • Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can have genuine input in shaping the growth and development of a company? Magenta is looking for a new member to join their growing team.

    The Role

As an Associate Director at Magenta, you will work in an award-winning team to deliver high quality research projects, grow client relationships and drive strategic insights for a diverse set of clients. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on research expertise, covering a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

In this pivotal role, you'll be a catalyst driving our agency's evolution, responsible for:

    • Leading end-to-end research projects across diverse industries translating complex data into actionable insights.

    • Contributing directly to business development through identifying and nurturing key client relationships.

    • Helping drive innovation by developing cutting-edge research methodologies, integrating emerging technologies and methodological approaches and blending qualitative depth with quantitative precision.

    • Crafting compelling thought leadership content that positions Magenta as an industry thought leader.

    • Mentoring junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

    The Ideal Candidate

We're seeking a dynamic researcher with:

    • 5+ years of research experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights.

    • A mixed method background – passionate about qualitative research, and with a head for numbers. You should be confident leading both types of projects from design to delivery. We are a full-service agency and frequently integrate both in our projects.

    • A track record of thought leadership (publications, conference presentations, industry recognition).

    • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    • Experience building and managing client relationships, generating client leads and building accounts.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into compelling narratives.

    Why Magenta?

At Magenta, we're not just another research agency. We're a tight-knit team of strategic thinkers who believe research can fundamentally transform businesses. Our flat structure means your ideas aren't just heard—they're actively sought and implemented. You'll have the rare opportunity to shape not just projects, but the entire trajectory of our company.

We work remotely but get together regularly to work and socialise. This might be day long analysis sessions as we battle out the insight and story for a client or simply a day out with clients enjoying the summer sunshine and drinks. You are encouraged to bring your passions to work and champion them through attending and presenting at webinars and conferences contributing to industry developments.

We offer a competitive salary, flexible working, a fun environment to work in and offer a genuine work life balance by finding out what that actually looks like for you. Some of the benefits include:

    • Personal training budget to spend on whatever you think will help you do your job better.

    • 25 days annual leave + we close between Christmas and New Year.

    • 2 days a year to volunteer.

    • Early finish Fridays in the summer.

    • All employees are part of the company bonus scheme.

    • Pension.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is important to us and we appreciate difference. It gives us a deeper understanding of the world, our society and the diverse audiences we work with. By including everyone, we are able to draw on the unique experiences and expertise of our people to help shape and enrich our workplace and improve our research.  We therefore welcome applications from everyone regardless of your age, ethnicity, gender, religious or spiritual belief, sexual orientation, marital status, political view and socio-economic status.
